Accessibility
Our commitment to digital accessibility.
We are committed to providing an inclusive digital experience for all visitors.
Our Commitment
Antigenic is committed to providing a digital experience that is usable and accessible to all individuals, regardless of ability or the technology they use to access the web. We believe that accessibility is not an optional enhancement but a baseline expectation, particularly for an organization positioning to support public-sector and regulated clients.
We hold ourselves to the same standards of inclusivity that we expect in the systems and solutions we advise on.
Standards
This website is designed to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at the AA conformance level. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), define how web content can be made more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.
We treat WCAG 2.1 AA as our target standard and continuously evaluate our site against its success criteria.
Measures We Take
We incorporate the following practices into the design, development, and maintenance of this website:
- Semantic HTML — Content is structured using meaningful HTML elements, ensuring that assistive technologies can accurately interpret page structure, headings, lists, and navigation
- Keyboard navigation — All interactive elements, including links, buttons, and form fields, are operable using keyboard input alone, with visible focus indicators
- Color contrast — Text and interactive elements maintain contrast ratios that meet or exceed WCAG 2.1 AA thresholds, in both light and dark display modes
- Alternative text — Images include descriptive alt text that conveys their purpose. Decorative images are marked appropriately so they are ignored by screen readers
- Heading hierarchy — Pages follow a logical heading structure, enabling screen reader users to navigate content efficiently by section
- Responsive layout — The site adapts to various screen sizes, orientations, and zoom levels without loss of content or functionality
- No motion dependence — Essential content and interactions do not rely on animation or motion. Where motion is used, it respects user preferences for reduced motion
Feedback
We recognize that accessibility is an ongoing process, and we welcome feedback from users who encounter barriers on this site. If you experience difficulty accessing any content or functionality, please let us know through our Engagement Intake form. Include a description of the issue and the page where you encountered it, and we will work to address it promptly.
Accessibility concerns are treated with the same priority as functional defects.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is not a fixed state but a continuous practice. We regularly review our site against current guidelines, incorporate accessibility testing into our development process, and stay informed about evolving standards and assistive technology capabilities.
As we expand the content and features of this site, we will ensure that accessibility remains a foundational consideration in every decision, from design through deployment.
